Flying Horse Catering is a full service
catering company located at the Douglas County Events Center
in Castle Rock, Colorado, conveniently located between the
Front Range metropolitan areas of Denver and Colorado Springs.
Having both on site catering at the 39,000 square foot Douglas
County Events Center and off site catering, Flying Horse
can service all your catering needs.
Flying Horse Catering's origins can be traced
to the Pegasus Restaurant in Castle Rock, Colorado, when by
customer demand in 1992, owners John and Janie DeLay began
catering meals for their customers. Two years later the business
outgrew the restaurant and a separate location was established
in Castle Rock. In 1995, John's brother Jim DeLay and his wife
Patti were brought in as partners. At that time, the catering
company was known as Colorado Cookhouse Catering. In 1998,
the name Flying Horse Catering was adopted and incorporated
as its own company on January 1st of that year
In July of 2001, we were awarded the contract
for the Douglas County Events Center. All food service operations
were moved to this new location with the capabilities now of
both on and off site catering.
Executive Chef Jean-Paul Beining joined Flying
Horse Catering in the fall of 2002 bringing a wealth of knowledge
and experience. Jean-Paul has owned his own restaurants and
has been a chef in some well known country clubs and hotels
as well. Our staff is not limited by our menus, Jean-Paul would
be happy to customize a menu for your upcoming event.
With a wide variety of menus including breakfast,
lunch and dinner, we can meet all your catering needs. Just
give us a call!
